An easy trip from Las Cruces Elks, we arrived at the next stop, Saddleback Mountain RV. Amazingly huge with pull-through, full hookups, perfectly level sites on clean gravel for $20/night!
This was a book online RV stop and after an email confirmation, you just pick any of the 46 sites and drop anchor; no muss no fuss. There are probably a dozen other RV's here … plenty of room to spread out and for distance privacy.
There is an ice machine, gas station, and a steakhouse restaurant on-site, but little else. Sorry, no hot tub or pool! Ha!
Tomorrow we head for San Antonio, booked for 3 nights at Alamo City RV Park, so we can get around to all the sights. Check back often to see our progress ... We are looking forward to touring the area around San Antonio and the Alamo! I'll be looking for Davey's raccoon skin hat!
