Silver City, NM

A few pix of our trek to Silver City, where we met my friends Sam-N5FO and Steve-N2IC. Both live only 15 minutes from town, so they gave us a guided tour with introductions to a few shop owners on a first-name basis. This last pix is of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, significant because it is the same name of the church in the little town of Davenport, CA where Ken & I grew up.

This was a great place to meander and wish we had more time to go into a few more stores. Sam gave us a song on his "Cajun button box" ... Ken gave it a try and actually didn't do too badly.

Lots of Art Deco remodeling going on and some very cool shops and architecture.
