Goodyear, AZ

We finally escaped Lake Havasu City with the Jeep in tow, with a rebuilt transmission. So, yesterday we rejoined Ken & Terri (and our trip plan) at Destiny RV Resort in Goodyear, AZ. The trip here was uneventful with lots of straight, boring travel through the desert (Hwy95 to Hwy10), through Quartzsite. Destiny RV Resort is very nice with asphalt sites, orange trees between each site, and plenty of room. Ken reports they even allow you to wash your RV at your site. So, tomorrow I'll get the bugs off the front and the dirt off the back in the morning before it gets hot.

Today we'll get an early start to the Butterfly Wonderland in Scottsdale, AZ. K&T visited yesterday and report it is well worth the 1-hour trip, to and from. So, standby for some cool, creature pictures on the next post.
