After a short 60-mile drive from Deming, and a quick gas/fuel stop, we arrived at Las Cruces KOA. Here we met two Cousins, Al and Don and their wives, for a couple days and nights of visiting.
The RV's are lined up, left to right, Al & Nancy, Us, Ken & Terri, and Don & Pat. We each have a beautiful view out the front window of Las Cruces. This KOA is built on a hill with a spectacular view of the valley.
Something cool to drink, followed by a steak barbecue were the order for the rest of the evening. It was so great to see and visit with our cousins … more to come tomorrow.
PS: Don introduced us to Screwball peanut-flavored whiskey. Waaaay to good!!!
