South Dakota to Wyoming

It seems the trip is going fast now, as we slip through the remaining states on our way to through Idaho, Washington, Oregon then South into California. The scenery is changing dramatically as we cross the plains of Wyoming. Of course, the Wall Drug signs and Firehouse Brewery signs are getting closer together. We wonder where they got all these old fire trucks!

We stopped at a local cafe called the Covered Wagon Cafe, after topping off the gas tank, and had one of the best breakfasts on the trip so far. The adjacent store was interesting too, and the entrance to the 8,000 acre auto museum. It was difficult for Louise to pass this up (yeah, right!), so we continued on.

We love the way they roll the hay and other grass products out here.

So, we say goodbye to Wyoming and head for Big Sky Country Montana ... next post.
